Knigge charged with murder
Authorities confirm Gomez was found deceased near Clare
Mackenzie Knigge, of Clare, and Phillip Anthony Williams, of Lafayette, Indiana, have been charged with first-degree murder in connection to the death of Jessica Gomez, the Webster County Sheriff’s Office has reported.
Gomez was found dead near Clare on Saturday.
The State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny conducted an autopsy and confirmed Monday evening that the body found in the field was indeed her. Gomez was 26.
Williams and Knigge are currently in custody.
