Dayton Police Chief Nick Dunbar said the family of Jennifer Nielsen-Buckley contacted his office on Wednesday to say she is OK.

Dunbar was told Nielsen-Buckley contacted the family.

She is in a hospital out of state.

He said the reason she was hospitalized is not life-threatening, he said.

Not much more information was available, but Dunbar said the family and his department were grateful for the public’s help in searching and for the tips received.

The family reported her missing Tuesday of last week.

Police previously said foul play was not suspected.
