Radann Dawson and his daughter Karrah Dawson climb into their Grumman plane painted to resemble a World Ward II-era British Spitfire. The two flew to Fort Dodge for the annual chili fly-in hosted by area aviation enthusiasts club the Plane Crazies. Dawson said the event kicks off his flying season. More than a dozen pilots landed at the Fort Dodge Regional Airport for the event.
