Kindergarten Round-up set at CCS

Kindergarten Round-up will be held on Feb. 25. from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Community Christian School, 2406 9 1/2 Ave. S. All interested families are invited to participate to learn more about CCS and to sign up their child for kindergarten. Free T-shirts will be available for the class of 2028. CCS preschool space limited

Community Christian School has limited space available for the 3- and 4-year-old preschool program for the 2019-20 school year. Four-year-old preschool is free due to the Iowa preschool program grant. Scholarships are available for the 3-year-old program if needed. Day care for infant to elementary ages is provided at CCS along with the preschool program. Three- and 4-year-old preschool classes are taught by licensed and certified teachers using a faith and academically based curriculum. Four FDSH students earn awards at Iowa Central Art Exhibition

Fort Dodge Senior High submitted 10 student works of art in this year’s Iowa Central Community College Triton Prairie Lakes Area High School Art Exhibition. Four FDSH students received awards for their outstanding artwork. Community Christian pancake breakfast set for Saturday

Community Christian School’s athletic department is hosting its annual All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast on Saturday. Pancakes, sausages, coffee, milk, and juice will be served from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m in the CCS gym, 2406 9 1/2 Ave. S. The Parent Teacher Fellowship at the school will be involved. Tickets purchased in advance are $5 for ages 11 to adult and $3 for ages 3 through 10. Tickets at the door will be $6 for adults and $4 for children.
