Webster County Farm Bureau honored for excellence

Webster County Farm Bureau received an outstanding designation for its 2019 programs, which help further the story of agriculture to new audiences through many areas including policy development, policy implementation, communications and strengthening the county Farm Bureau. Jeremy Swanson, president of Webster County Farm Bureau, was presented the award at the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation annual meeting. IFBF Vice President Joe Heinrich made the presentation to Swanson.

UnityPoint Clinic Pediatrics — Fort Dodge is welcomes Alexandra Adam, advanced registered nurse practioner, to its team. Adam, of Gowrie, received her undergraduate degree from Graceland University and went on to receive her master’s in nursing from Maryville University. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and her clinical interests include health promotion, ADHD, pediatric care, patient education, adolescent health care and primary care.

Isaacson receives Early Career Award

HUMBOLDT — Ben Isaacson, of Anamosa, was recognized at the Annual Conference of American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers for the Early Career Award. This national award, given annually by the ASFMRA, recognizes an outstanding “early career” member. Flattery joins Schnurr and Company

Neil Flattery, a Fort Dodge native, recently returned to the city to work for Schnurr and Company. Flattery graduated from St. Edmond High School in 2012. He double majored in accounting and finance from the University of Iowa and graduated there in May of 2016. Flattery worked for three years at Bohr, Dahm, Greif, and Associates in Cedar Rapids. He became CPA certified on Dec. 7, 2017.
