GriefShare ‘Surviving the Holidays’ semimar is Sunday

First Covenant Church, 201 Ave. H, is offering a free two-hour GriefShare seminar entitled “Surviving the Holidays” from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the church. It is designed to offer support for those who are grieving throughout the holiday season. It will consist of a video, discussion, and support for each other. All are welcome. Lehigh Methodist Second Sunday Supper is Sunday

LEHIGH — The Lehigh Methodist Church’s Second Sunday Supper will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the church basement. The menu includes a variety of kinds of soup with dessert and a drink for a freewill donation.

Livermore American Legion breakfast is Sunday

LIVERMORE — Livermore American Legion Otto Field Post 415 is holding a breakfast fundraiser from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the Livermore Legion basement. The menu is pancakes, eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy for $10 per person.

Livermore UWF turkey dinner is Nov. 20

LIVERMORE — The Livermore United Women in Faith are holding a turkey dinner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 20 at the Livermore United Methodist Church basement, Livermore. The menu is turkey, dressing, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, dessert, water and coffee, for a freewill donation. The dinner will be served dine in or carryout.

VFW Post is holding a turkey dinner today at the VFW, 518 S. 29th St., serving from 4:30 p.m. until gone. The menu is turkey, dressing, real mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, dessert and coffee. Tickets are $12 per person, dine in or carryout. Everyone is welcome.

Badger Lutheran Church Norwegian supper is Nov. 8

BADGER — Badger Lutheran Church, 127 Second Ave. S.E., Badger, is holding a Norwegian supper on Nov. 8 at the church. The supper is dine in with reserved seating times of 4 to 5 p.m., 5 to 6 p.m, and 6 to 7 p.m. The menu is lutefisk, lefse, potatoes, meatballs, green beans, cranberries, flotbrod, gumme, fruit soup, spritz, kringla and krumkae.
