KYL adult programs scheduled

Kendall Young Library will hold Adult Programs throughout the month of August. Adult Daytime Book Club — Kendall Young Library invites you to join for the August Book Club discussion about “All the Colors of the Dark” by Chris Whitaker. KYL invites kids and teens for fun

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will hold a variety of events in August open to youths of all ages (children under 8 years old must have an adult present). Tuesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m, — Kids are invited to stop in for a morning movie. We will be watching “Hoppers.” Grab a friend and join us for a lowkey morning. Kendall Young Library will offer exciting programs for all ages coming this fall. Fall programming will begin Aug. 28. KYL is issuing new library cards

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library is encouraging patrons to get a new library card or renew throughout the month of August. It is the perfect addition to your back-to- school supplies. Each new card or renewal will receive a free book.

Catholic Daughters to meet Aug. 13, RSVP requested

The Catholic Daughters Court 216 kick-off meeting will be held on Aug. 13, at the Corpus Christi Center beginning with Mass at 6 p.m. followed by dinner, social time, and a business meeting. Remember to use your invitation card to invite a friend to come with you. Members who would like to attend, please RSVP for dinner by calling Kitty Nilles at 515-206-5496 by noon on Aug. 11. WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will hold Adult Programs throughout the month of July. Adult DIY — Kendall Young Library will be hosting Adult DIY from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Patrons can try their hand at the Basics of Lettering. Everything you need will be available to learn the art of calligraphy and other eye-catching text. This event is free and does not require registration. Bring a friend and enjoy the evening out.
