PICA to meet Tuesday and Thursday

PICA (Pride In Community Appearance) volunteers will work from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesday, meet at the southwest corner of the Fort Dodge Middle School parking lot, 800 N. 32nd St. On Thursday, at Reynolds Park, Third Avenue North and 17th Street.

Lehigh Methodist to hold Second Sunday Supper

LEHIGH — Lehigh United Methodist Church will hold its Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the church, 386 Spencer Hill St., Lehigh. The menu includes pulled pork sandwich or hot dogs, salad, dessert and drink for a freewill offering. Dine in or carry out. There will also be ice cream.

Federated Garden Club to meet Tuesday

The Fort Dodge Federated Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lion’s Den, 731 Exposition Drive. The club will decorate mini pumpkins with dried flowers. They will be then taken to the Marian Home Care Center to be given to residents. Members are asked to bring scissors and a glue gun. Anyone interested is invited to attend.

Books & Bourbon Silent Book Club — Kendall Young Library is working with Wildcat Distilling Co. to offer patrons a Silent Book Club. WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library Children’s Department will hold a variety of programs in September. Weekly Programs Children’s Mini Makerspace (Family) stop in from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on Mondays in September to get creative. This come and go time will offer a variety of craft supplies to make creations on your own or the option of a special craft activity to get you started.
