KYL to hold teen events

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will hold a variety of teen events throughout the summer. Teen Summer Reading Program — Patrons entering sixth through 12th grades are invited to join in a variety of “Plant a seed, Read” summer programs. WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be having story/activity programs for all ages throughout July. Children’s Summer Reading Program — Patrons, birth to fifth grade, are invited to join in a variety of “Plant a Seed, Read” summer programs. Vacation Bible school is July 14-17

St. Olaf Lutheran Church and Grace Lutheran Church are partnering to hold vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon July 14-17 for ages 6 to 12 years old. The theme is “Lego and Trust God.” There will be an Option Fellowship Camp until 3 p.m. on July 14 and 16. Lunch will be provided to those staying. June 17 will end at 12 p.m. with a block party. Family members are invited to attend. The cost is by freewill donation. It is being held at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, 239 N. 11th St.

Kendall Young closures scheduled

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be closed today and Saturday for the 4th of July holiday. On July 21, the library will close at 4:30 p.m. for the Hamilton County Fair Parade.
