Laurens UMC holiday event is today
LAURENS — The United Methodist Women of Laurens United Methodist Church, Laurens, are holding its annual holiday event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Booths will feature breads, homemade candies, frozen casseroles, pies, cookie walk, assortment of packaged nuts, and quilted, knitted and embroidered items. A lunch of chicken and biscuits will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for $7 for adults to age 6 and $3 for age 5 and under.
