Mary Therese Schreier

Mary Therese Schreier, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Manson, will celebrate her 100th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Celebration Center of Friendship Haven, 420 Kenyon Road.

Her family includes Dr. John and LuAnn Schreier, of Valrico, Florida; Jim and Kathleen Schreier, of Fort Dodge; Mary Kaye Helmbrecht, of Sac City; and Joe Schreier, of Manson. She has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband, Mervin Schreier, passed away in 2010. Her son-in-law Bob Helmbrecht and daughter-in-law Debbie Schreier are also deceased.

Mary McCreary was born on Aug. 4, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois.
