Gould “Junie” Montgomery

OTHO — Gould “Junie” Montgomery, of Kalo, will celebrate his 90th birthday on July 30.

Gould’s family includes his wife Muriel “Mert,” Mary and Ron Brown, of rural Lehigh; Monty Montgomery and Laura Mernka, of rural Fort Dodge; Jean and Kip Buenting, of rural Otho; and Jana and Dan Riley, of Fort Dodge. He has 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Gould was born July 30, 1935. He married Muriel Porter on April 17, 1958. They made their home in Kalo where they have resided ever since. Gould worked for Georgia Pacific and retired in 1997.
