Gene and Pauline Ruebel

BARNUM — Gene and Pauline Ruebel, of Barnum, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

Their family includes Gary and Barb Ruebel, Des Moines; Tim and Peg Ruebel, Moorland; and Terry and Karen Lawler, Clare. They have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Gene Ruebel and Pauline Hiveley were married on June 6, 1959, at Duncombe Methodist Church. They have lived their entire married life on the family farm near Barnum.
