Betty Tinken

GILMORE CITY — Betty Tinken, of Gilmore City, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Jan. 8.

An open house will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Dakota City VFW Post 5240.

Her family includes Randy and Kathy Tinken, of LaFeria, Texas; Linda Ford, Kim Swanson, of Gilmore City; Tim and Kim Tinken, of Humboldt; and Becky Carman, of Clare. She has 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her husband Burton Tinken, her eldest son Larry Tinken, granddaughter MaDonna, and great grandson Nicolas are deceased.

She was born Jan. 8, 1919.
