A Webster County man stands accused of using the Snapchat social media platform to try to entice a child into sexual activity, according to court records. Spencer H. Peterson, 33, of Callender, was arrested by Webster County sheriff’s deputies and charged with grooming and telephone dissemination of obscene material to a minor, first offense, court records indicate. The incident happened June 15. Peterson was arrested on Sunday. FD council begins leasing vehicles
After purchasing vehicles since it acquired the very first one decades ago, the Fort Dodge city government is beginning to lease some of the smaller ones it uses. In June, the City Council approved a preliminary measure with regard to vehicle leasing. On Monday, it approved a master equity lease agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management, which is related to the Enterprise car rental company.
