Shipwrecked VBS will be held at CrossWay Evangelical Free Church

CrossWay Evangelical Free Church, 2058 10th Ave. N.. is holding Shipwrecked Vacation Bible School from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 27, July 11 and July 18. At Shipwrecked VBS, kids will discover how Jesus rescues them through life’s storms. Games, Bible songs and treats are just a few of the activities that will help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life. Lifetree topic is student-led walkouts

The rise and impact of student-led school walkouts surrounding gun control will be discussed at noon and 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Lifetree Cafe at Cana, 18 S. Holy Trinity Catholic Parish Pro-Life Committee will host The Living Rosary for Life at 2 p.m. Sunday at the new statue of Our Lady of Fatima on the west side of St. Edmond Catholic School. On this Mother’s Day, participants will also remember the appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Fatima 101 years ago followed by the Miracle of the Dancing Sun in October. First United Methodist Church will hold its next Manna Meal at 5 p.m. on May 19 at the church, 127 N. 10th St. Food provided by First Congregational Church. Bingo will be played following the meal.

Faith’s Journey will perform tonight

First Church of the Nazarene, 1250 N. 24th St., presents Faith’s Journey Trio, from Branson, Missouri, in concert at 7 p.m. today. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The evening of Southern Gospel music will be presented. The group blends both traditional quartet sound and Bluegrass Country with a unique splash of contemporary harmony.
