The Community Christian School Christmas program will be performed at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday in the school chapel. All students in preschool through eighth grade will join together to provide the program. The performances are open to the public. Sophomores Hallie Ehn, Maggie Lennon, and Ella Vratny, of St. Edmond Catholic School, have attained the highest individual honor available to Iowa high school musicians. The three were selected as members of the 2018 All-State Chorus. Hallie Ehn is the daughter of Robert and Lindsay Ehn. Maggie Lennon is the daughter of Lance and Samantha Lennon. Ella Vratny is the daughter of Jay Vratny and Amy Stark. District auditions for the 601-member All-State Chorus were held Oct. 20. Preschool pre-registration for the 2019-20 school year opens today at the Fort Dodge Community School District. To be eligible to attend preschool in the fall of 2019, children must be 4 years old by Sept. 15, 2019.
