Webster County Conservation is holding Coffee and Conservation at 10 a.m. today at the Matt Cosgrove River’s Edge Discovery Center, 20 N. First St. Each month there will be an informal discussion about a variety of conservation/recreation topics in Webster County. Coffee and light snacks will be provided. This week’s topic is beekeeping.
The Fort Dodge Area Symphony’s Summer Strings will present a free concert at 1 p.m. Sunday at Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave. Led by violinist Tom Shadonix, this string ensemble will offer a mixture of classical and popular music that can be enjoyed by all ages.
