KYL September teen events scheduled

WEBSTER CITY – Kendall Young Library will be having variety of teen events throughout September. Teen Lounge — Patrons in sixth through 12th grade are invited each Tuesday in September from 3:30 to 5 p.m. to join us weekly for special activities, video games, snacks, crafts, board games, and more This time and place is perfect to hang out with friends and is a come-and-go style event. Immanual Lutheran Church holding steak sandwich supper on Sunday

ROCKWELL CITY — Immanual Lutheran Church, 3010 270th St., Rockwell City, is holding its annual steak sandwich supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. The menu includes a ribeye steak sandwich or hamburger, with cheesy potatoes, beans, dessert and a drink for $10. A children’s hamburger meal is available for $5 for children ages 9 and under. Takeouts will be available by calling 712-297-7708. Funds raised will go to Lutheran Women’s Missionary League projects. The church is located five miles east of Rockwell City on Calhoun County Road D36.

Faith UMC turkey dinner is Sept. 17

HUMBOLDT — Faith United Methodist Church, 107 Fourth St. N., Humboldt, will be hosting its annual turkey dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Meal pickup will be drive-through or carry-out only. All tickets will be $15. Dinner tickets are advance sale only and are limited to 650 tickets. There will be two drive-through lanes on the north side of the church and one walk-in carry-out line on the south side of the building. CDA meeting Thursday, RSVP requested

The Catholic Daughters Court 216 meeting will be held on Thursday at the Corpus Christi Center beginning with Mass at 6 p.m. followed by dinner, guest speaker from the Fort Dodge Police Department to talk about scams and a business meeting. FDPL adult and teen coloring Tuesday

Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., will hold adult and teen coloring sessions from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the library’s large meeting room. Coloring sheets and coloring utensils will be available. If you are a long-time coloring fan or prefer to use your own supplies, feel free to bring them along and enjoy the company.
