Zion Lutheran invites grant applications

GOWRIE — The Zion Endowed Benevolence Team of Zion Lutheran Church, Gowrie, is soliciting grant applications for 2026. The purpose of the Endowed Benevolence Program is to extend and enrich the kingdom of God by witnessing in word and deed to people in need both directly and through organized efforts or organizations, especially those not having their own planned giving programs. WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library Children’s Department will hold a variety of events in April. No School Movie Matinee — Patrons ages 8 years old through 12th grade (or with an adult) are invited to relax and watch a movie at 1:30 p.m. on April 29 in the Teen Area. Wednesdays movie will be “Garfield — A Tail of Two Kitties.” Movie length is one hour, 26 minutes. Bring a friend and popcorn will be provided. CCS banquet is Sunday

Community Christian School will host a Crusader Legacy Banquet from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday in the school gymnasium, 2406 9 1/2 Ave. S.
