Maurice J. Albrecht
Davenport — Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Maurice J. Albrecht, 87, a resident of Davenport will be 10:00 am Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. There will be an additional visitation at church Saturday from 9:45 to 10:00.
Maurice died Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Iowa Masonic Home, Bettendorf.
Maurice Joseph Albrecht was born May 24, 1930 in Clare, Iowa a son of Ernest J. and Mary F. (Fitzgerald) Albrecht.
He served our country in the National Guard.
Maurice was united in marriage to Betty Westrum, September 5, 1953 in Clare.
He retired in 1982 from International Harvester after 32 1\2 years.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, Davenport; children, Susan (William) Albrecht-Felt, Chandler, AZ, Timothy Albrecht, Davenport, Sheri (Steve Carriger) Albrecht, Walford, Iowa, Sarah Teller, Davenport and Sibyl (Donald) Marriott, Eldridge; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ernest Albrecht and 2 sisters, Olive Neal and Lois Ascherl.
