The Fort Dodge wrestling team is ranked 13th in the first edition of the IHSAA dual rankings.

Defending Class 3A state champion Southeast Polk is No. 1 followed by Indianola, West Des Moines Dowling, Dallas Center-Grimes and Dubuque Hempstead.

The Dodgers, who finished third at the Don Miller Invitational this past weekend, are ahead of Waverly-Shell Rock, Ankeny, Johnston and West Des Moines Valley among others.

Fort Dodge returns to action in 2026 when they travel to Waterloo East on Jan. 8. They follow that up with a trip to Ames for the Mendenhall Invitational two days later.

Clarion-Goldfield/Dows, the fourth place finisher behind Southeast Polk at the Dan Gable Museum Battle of Waterloo dual tournament, is ranked first in 2A.

Algona is 10th in 2A and Humboldt isr anked 19th.

In 1A, Don Bosco, the defending state champions, are first followed by Jesup, Woodbury Central, Lake Mills and Lisbon.

These rankings will be released twice more next month and will be used to determine regional team assignments.
