Dodgers run at Storm Lake
STORM LAKE — The Fort Dodge cross country teams were in action at the Storm Lake Invitational on Tuesday.
Algona’s Gavin Weber was the individual champion, crossing the line in 16:11.06.
The Bulldogs placed seventh with 192 points. Sioux Center was the team champion.
The Dodger boys had two runners in the top-50. Fort Dodge finished ninth (246).
Jayce Point (18:50.59) was the top Dodger performer, taking 35th. Jones Hensley (19:13.33) was next in line, taking 50th.
Aidan Recker (19:40.66) was 58th, Corban McHone (19:54.46) was 64th and Joos Langkjear (20:02.29) was 71st. Drew Essman (22:05.33) and Myles Summers (22:17.69) rounded out the lineup.
Saiya Noborikawa (25:22.75) was the top finisher for the FDSH girls in 62nd. Madison Carmody (27:40.76) placed 102nd.
Also running for Fort Dodge on the girls’ side was Aileah Geopfert (27:41.47), Laila Grantham (27:52.45), and Reina Lacina (28:44.35).
The Dodgers are back in action on Tuesday when they run at the Riverhawk Invitational in Mason City.
