CEDAR RAPIDS — The Iowa Central baseball team took a three-game Top-10 series battle with ICCAC rival Kirkwood here over the weekend.

After dropping the opener of the series on Saturday, 4-3, the sixth-ranked Tritons rebounded to take the final two games.

Iowa Central scored a 17-11 victory in Saturday’s nightcap and downed the No. 9 Eagles on Sunday in 10 innings, 7-5.
