DES MOINES — The Fort Dodge boys tennis team picked up a 10-1 victory over Des Moines East here Monday evening.

Micah Flaherty put together a 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 1 singles spot as Akramjon Abdurakhimov, Tate Balkenende, Aidan Recker and Jaxon Price added victories.

In doubles, Flaherty and Abdurakhimov, Recker and Balkenende, Jaxton Jones and Price, Jayden Stanley and Authur Lund, and Jenson Litwiller and Joshua Beekman all claimed wins.

“The boys really came out and played great tennis,” FDSH head coach Scott Messerly said. “Micah did what he has done all year and the rest of the team followed.”

Fort Dodge hosts Des Moines North on Tuesday.
