Gaels host Eagle Grove on hardwood

LAST MEETING: The last time the two squads meet was in the 2016-17 season. The Gaels picked up a 68-44 victory.

LAST TIME OUT: St. Edmond dropped a 61-27 decision to Clarion-Goldfield/Dows. Leah Neverman led the Gaels with 10 points. Cambrie McBride added eight.

ABOUT THE EAGLES: The Eagles are coming off their first win of the season, knocking off North Iowa 42-36.

BOYS PROBABLES: St. Edmond (1-7): Connor Bocken, sr., 11.0; Jed Tracy, sr., 4.8; Cael Kolacia, jr., 6.8; Hayden Mayer, so., 8.1; Brock Stanek, jr., 1.8.

LAST MEETING: This will be the first meeting between the two schools since the 2014-15 season. The Gaels picked up a 68-40 victory in district play.

LAST TIME OUT: The Gaels suffered a 68-63 loss at Clarion-Goldfield/Dows. Drew Schaeffer led the way with 18 points. Cael Kolacia and Connor Bocken also reached double digits with 14 and 13 points respectively.

ABOUT THE EAGLES: Eagle Grove is coming off a 58-55 loss to North Iowa on Friday. The Eagle had won two straight games before that loss, beating West Beld-Mallard and North Union. They also own a win over Belmond-Klemme.
