IC women clear century mark

The Iowa Central women bounced back here Monday night, downing County Upper Academy, 103-38 inside Hodges Fieldhouse.

Avery Tilley had a game-high 19 points, hitting five 3-pointers. Anni Cummings scored 10 as the Tritons shot 48 percent from the field and buried 10 triples.

Amya Milligan and Justice Crooks each scored nine, with Crooks dishing out five assissts.

Tilley also had six assists, Mardajea Cross had five of Iowa Central’s 28 steals, and Isabell West grabbed eight rebounds.

Kael’a West, Jacie Stephenson and Jhordyn Chalmers all scored eight points each for the Tritons.

Iowa Central scored at least 21 points in all four quarters, including 29 in both the second and fourth periods.

The Tritons host the Great Western Shootout beginning this Friday when they fave Northeast in a rematch. Northeast won earlier this month, 61-51.
