Some district champions have already been crowned and playoff spots are up for grabs. In Class 1A, District 2, everything is up in the air. South Central Calhoun (6-1 overall), East Sac County (6-1) and Emmetsburg enter Friday’s final 1A night with identical 3-1 district records and playoff spots locked up. Manson Northwest Webster (2-2 in the district), the two-time defending champion, has the final spot in place. There will be no tie atop the leaderboard, as an outright champ will be crowned.
