By Chris Johnson 5 min read

Some district champions have already been crowned and playoff spots are up for grabs.

In Class 1A, District 2, everything is up in the air.

South Central Calhoun (6-1 overall), East Sac County (6-1) and Emmetsburg enter Friday's final 1A night with identical 3-1 district records and playoff spots locked up.

Manson Northwest Webster (2-2 in the district), the two-time defending champion, has the final spot in place. There will be no tie atop the leaderboard, as an outright champ will be crowned.

The E-Hawks travel to East Sac County. The winner will finish 4-1 in the district. With a Titan win, South Central Calhoun will also have a 4-1 record.

With an East Sac County and Titan victory, the Raiders get the first-place spot; an E-Hawk victory could put the Titans in the top position with a win.

If South Central Calhoun loses to Pocahontas Area, the Emmetsburg-East Sac County winner is the champ.

With a win over Okoboji (1-3) earlier this season, Southeast Valley (2-2) has locked up the fourth spot in Class 2A, District 2.

In Class 1A, District 3 Eagle Grove (2-2) is in with a victroy over Grundy Center. If the Eagles lose and Central Springs beats South Hardin, it would set up a three-way tie.

Clarion-Goldfield-Dows (4-0) locked up its district crown last week. Bishop Garrigan (4-0) has secured the district crown in Eight-Player, District 2.

In Class 3A, District 1, Algona (4-3 overall) has locked up a playoff spot and is the frontrunner for the district crown.
