RICEVILLE — It was another big night for the Bishop Garrigan football team, as they rolled to a 52-0 victory over Riceville on Friday night. Tate Foertsch threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more. Foertsch had four carries for 109 yards and scored from 49 and 34 yards out. He was 7-for-9 passing for 109 yards. ALGONA — The Algona football team put together a strong first half of play here Friday night vs. Carroll Kuemper. Over the final 24 minutes, though, the Knights took control, picking up a 52-21 victory vs. the Bulldogs. Nathan Manske had a pair of touchdown passes, hitting Tate Garman on a 66-yarder and Micah Kitzinger from 23 yards out to give Algona an early lead.
