Mustangs roll past WB-M
NEWELL – Tenth-ranked Newell-Fonda cruised to a 42-6 victory over West Bend-Mallard on Friday night.
Reed Kruse was the groundhog for the Mustangs (6-2 overall, 4-1 district), rushing for 213 yards on 25 carries and five touchdowns, and throwing for a score.
Kruse had three one-yard touchdowns, a five-yard touchdown and a 54-yard scoring jaunt.
Kruse also threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to R.J. Rojas.
Jesse Haack had seven carries for 100 yards.
Kruse threw for 90 yards on 4 of 8 passing.
Haack had 15 tackles.
West Bend-Mallard’s (5-3, 3-3) Michael Fehr threw a 37-yard scoring strike to his brother Brandon.
