Jaguars suffer 31-20 setback

GOWRIE – Southeast Valley suffered its second district loss of the season, falling to No. 4 Carroll Kuemper, 31-20 on Friday night.

The Jaguars (6-3 overall, 5-2 district) were out-gained 362-347 by the Knights (8-1, 7-0).

Aaron Swieter led the Jaguars on the ground, with 12 carries for 114 yards and a 51-yard rushing touchdown.

Nolan Brand was 8-for-14 for 193 yards and two touchdowns. He threw both scoring strikes to Nolan Johnson (30 and 79 yards).

Kaleb Jondle ran the ball 12 times for 60 yards.

Johnson had three catches for 116 yards and Dakota Jaeschke caught three balls for 44 yards.
