Lorie Spanjers

Lorie Kay Spanjers, age 70, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, while touring Sorrento, Italy. A memorial service will be held on March 14, 2026, at 11 AM at Gunderson Funeral Home. Lorie was born on September 15, 1955, to Mary Dee and Peter Spanjers. As one of five children that Mary Dee and Peter had, she grew up surrounded by love and sibling camaraderie. She graduated from Schuyler Central High School in Schuyler, NE in 1973. Gary S. Hall, 79, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 20, 2026 (Please note the date), at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Farnhamville with Pastor Aaron Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow in Reading Township Cemetery in Farnhamville. There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday. Linda M. Havlik, 77, of Ames and formerly Gilmore City, passed away Wednesday February 11, 2026, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM Monday February 16, 2026, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvert Cemetery in Pocahontas. There will be a visitation from Noon until the time of service on Monday. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family.
