Liam Zederick Sanders-McCuddin, 1, of Ames, IA, died Friday, March 13, 2026, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home, 923 1st Avenue South – Fort Dodge, with Rev. Dan Kahl officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home. Interment will take place at North Lawn Cemetery. Liam was born October 18, 2024, in Omaha, NE, the son of Markasia McCuddin and Eric Sanders.
Liam was a happy boy who enjoyed using his mother as a “jungle gym”. He also enjoyed watching the Mickey Mouse Club and visiting & playing with his friends.
Liam is survived by his father: Eric Sanders of Chicago, IL; sister: Erianna Sanders; grandmother: Anjoul Sanders; great grandmother: Verdell Robinson; great grandmother: Rebecca “Becky” McCuddin (Buck), great grandfather: Mark McCuddin (Danielle); great great grandmother: Delores McCuddin; and uncles: Isaac Brown III, Willie Watkins III, Cedric Watkins, Antonio Watkins and Joshua Watkins. He is also survived by many more uncles, aunts, cousins and loved ones.
He was preceded in death with his mother: Markasia “Kasia” McCuddin. He is also preceded in death by his grandmother: Lisa Ann McCuddin; and great grandfather: Zederick Sanders.
