Shirley Pingel

She passed away December 11, 2023. She was 82. You may be looking at her photo saying she looked really good for 82.

No one seems to post unflattering pictures of themselves

So why would I do that to my mom.

Although she's originally from Fort Dodge, Iowa, she moved to California, had a family in the '60s, myself and my brother and then “abandoned” us to move back to Iowa in the mid-1990s as soon as we were “weaned.”

She was the best mom I could have asked for, a lot better than those POS moms. I think my brother feels the same.

She was warm, kind, loving.

And chill most of the time and also loved by so many.

I don't wanna drag this out and make a huge list of her all of her accomplishments list all of her friends, relatives and hobbies. I just want to say she was always fun to be around and if anyone needed anything she would be there to help if she could.

We love you mom you were truly an amazing woman and whatever successes I have in life I credit you.
