Daniel Dodgen, 68, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines after a short illness.

A Cele­bra­tion of Dan’s Life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Tompkins Celebration Center, Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge. A time of gathering for family and friends will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday at the Tompkins Celebration Center. A family burial will be held at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge.

Daniel is survived by his wife Eileen; stepchildren Scott (Thera) McMahan of Coalville and Becky (Dean) Habhab of Fort Dodge; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson on the way. He is also survived by his 3 siblings, Bruce Dodgen (Paula Virtue) of Des Moines, Barb (Pat) Colwell of Humboldt, and Kristol (Russell) King of Ness City, Kansas.
