DOLORES WERGELAND

HARDY — Dolores Darlene Wergeland, 87, of Hardy, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Wergeland of Hardy; children, Cindy (Jeff) Pattison of Muscatine, Kim (Conley) Nelson of Algona, and Chris (Natalie) Wergeland of Hardy; grandchildren: Jennifer (Mike Van Atter) Pattison, Anna (Michael Matthews) Pattison, Mark (Amy) Nelson, Kara (Dan) Garman, Emilee Wergeland, John Wergeland and Ashlee Wergeland; great grandchildren: Claire, Ellis, Alaina, Hayden, Nile, Amara and Jordyn; sisters: Virginia Parrish, Marlene Vorland and Charlene Baker, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Bernice Johnson, her brothers Marvin Johnson, Jr., and John Johnson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Visitation will one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery near Hardy. Memorials may be left to the family’s discretion.
