CURTIS STRUTZENBERG

GOWRIE — Curtis Strutzenberg, 52, of Gowrie, died November 30, 2020, at Trinity Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Come and go visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until the family service at 4:00 p.m. at Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Curtis Roy Strutzenberg, son of Daryl and Jaci (Ackerson) Strutzenberg, was born July 12, 1968, in Fort Dodge. He graduated from FDSH in 1986. Curtis married LeeAnn Wendland on Sept. 5, 1992. He was employed with Amuse-O-Matic, Uneek Security, Overhead Door, Decker’s and Wright Tree Service over the years. He loved time spent with family, hunting, fishing, camping, and family bonfires. Billiards, playing pool with his dad and friends, were cherished times. He could often be found tinkering in the garage and able to fix just about anything.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife LeeAnn; children Tiffany and Cody; his parents Daryl and Jaci, his brother Jeff (Rhonda) of Callender, his father-in-law Wally (Sheryl) Wendland of Fort Dodge, his in-laws Greg (Melissa) Wendland of Moorland, Jamie (Heidi) Raymond of Madrid, Barry (Kim) Raymond of Gowrie, Israel (Tami) Swanson of Manson. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Judy Wendland and brother-in-law Shane Wendland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
