Dale was born May 19, 1937, on the family farm in Gilmore City. He graduated from Bradgate High School. After graduation he began farming. For many years he worked for Bock Brothers Welding Supply and later was a custodian and bus driver for Prairie Valley Schools (Southeast Valley). Dale enjoyed bowling and cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Iowa Hawkeyes. He was an avid coin and eagle collector.

He is survived by his children, Rich (Mary Ann) Christensen of De Pere, WI; Dawn Wesley of Fort Dodge; Chad Christensen (Brian Shelton) of Hollywood, FL; grandchildren, Abigail Christensen of St. Paul, MN; Riley and Bennett Christensen of De Pere, WI; Austin Wesley of Fort Dodge; sister, Wanda Dorsey of Callender; nephew, AJ (Katie) Dorsey of Gowrie.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Henry Christensen and Esther (Pederson) Christensen-Hall; and brother-in-law, Steven Dorsey.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
