HARL STEPHENSON
OTHO — Harl Stephenson, 72, died Friday, January 24, 2020, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with a private family burial following. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City.
Harl is survived by his children Alyssa Stephenson of Murfreesboro, TN, Andrea Allbee and her children Kori, Lenix and Brayten of Fort Dodge, and Adam Stephenson of Badger; his beloved dog, Elsie; sisters Kathy Stephenson of Fort Dodge and Connie Falk of Rockwell City; sisters-in-law Patty Stephenson of Lake City and Diane Stephenson of Littleton, CO, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Diane Stephenson; parents LeRoy and Mary Ann Stephenson; brothers Denny and Bill Stephenson; sister Susan Hammen; and brother-in-law Mark Falk.
Harl LeRoy Stephenson was born on July 19, 1947, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to LeRoy and Mary Ann (Reischl) Stephenson. On May 17, 1980, Harl married Diane Himrod in Humboldt, IA. He worked for Iowa Beef, and an OTR truck driver, and at Electrolux until his retirement in 2008.
