Aglow International to meet Oct. 21

Aglow International will host Elaine Johnston, a retired chaplain with a master’s degree in Christian counseling at 10 a.m. on Oct. 21 at the Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave.. She is experienced in many settings from hospitals, hospice, substance abuse, mental health, and care centers. Johnston is married, a mother, grandmother, and a great-grandmother. Lost Island Soup and Pie Supper is Oct. 22

GRAETTINGER — The Lost Island Lutheran Church will hold a Soup and Pie Supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 22 at the church in Graettinger. The menu will include chili, chicken noodle and vegetable beef soups with homemade bread and pie. Cost is a freewill donation, gluten free items will be available. Also check out the Guatemalan Fair Trade Store and Nut Sale.

‘Passport to Divine Destinations’ Bazaar

SAC CITY — The First Presbyterian Church will hold “Passport to Divine Destinations” bazaar, morning coffee and lunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 21 at the church in Sac City. The bazaar will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the morning coffee from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost for the morning coffee is $2, the lunch will cost $6. The bazaar will featured attic treasures, crafts, food and bake sale, snacks and nuts, collectibles and holiday and gift items.

Questers coffee to be held Oct. 23

The Lauderdale Questers Chapter 380 invite all Fort Dodge active Questers to a coffee at 1 pm. Oct. 23 at the Parsonage at 1229 S. 26th St. for By The Grace of God Church. The hosts will be Millie Nordeen and Pastor Dan Prochaska. The program will be “Church History”. Reservations, with how many in your group will attend, should be made by Oct. 15 to 576-2079.

Compassionate Friends to meet

The Compassionate Friends of Fort Dodge, a support group for parents (or siblings) that have suffered the death of a child of any age, any cause, will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1436 21st Ave. N., enter in the back northeast door. Our Saviour’s AutumnFest Supper

HUMBOLDT — Our Saviour’s AutumnFest Supper will be held from 5 to 7 p..m. on Monday at the church in Humboldt. The menu will include roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, green beans, rolls, and homemade pies. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. There will be a raffle for a queen-size quilt. Carry-out will be available.
