Part of Iowa Highway 3 to be closed
CLARION — Iowa Highway 3 between Clarion and Goldfield in Wright County will be closed beginning Monday, according to the state Department of Transportation. The highway is being closed so that the bridge over Eagle Creek can be replaced. That section of highway is expected to be closed through Nov. 3. Traffic will be detoured onto Wright County Road R33, Wright County Road C54 and U.S. Highway 69.
Thrive Iowa launches in Webster County
Thrive Iowa has come to Webster County. Thrive Iowa is a new resource under the Iowa Department of Human Services that focuses on individuals and families in need of assistance. The Webster County launch was Friday at the Fort Dodge Community Schools Central Administration building. A group of interested parties was welcomed by Superintendent Josh Porter.
