Drug, weapon charges send man to prison for 25 years A Dakota City man has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for drug and weapons charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa. In April, Nathan Nickless, 40, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine after having been previously convicted of a serious drug felony, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and failure to appear. Woman charged in baseball bat attack A Fort Dodge woman has been charged with breaking into an apartment and attacking the man who lives there with a baseball bat, according to court records. Jasmine Nichole May Wever, 22, was arrested by Fort Dodge police and charged with first degree burglary, going armed with intent and violation of probation.
