Cash stolen from vehicles during Bible school event
LYTTON — Multiple attendees at a Lytton Bible school event Wednesday morning left church to find their vehicles broken into.
According to Sac County Deputy Katie Stange, cash was taken from two vehicles at Emanuel St. John Lutheran Church between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday. Both vehicles were unlocked at the time of the break-ins.
“Lock your vehicle doors,” said Stange. “I know we live in a small community and should feel safe, but when your vehicle is left unlocked, your door just has to be opened to take things. Please remember to lock your vehicles, even in small communities.”
According to Stange, anyone with information or who witnessed suspicious activity at the church Wednesday morning is asked to contact the Sac County Sheriff’s Office at 712-662-7127.
