The remains of a burned-out camper at 3859 River Road in Dayton are investigated by Dayton Fire Chief Nick Dunbar and Webster County Sheriff’s Deputy Amy Stringer. The fire is still under investigation, but according to Webster County Sheriff’s Deputy Alex Winninger, the fire may have started at some point overnight. He said either a neighbor or a passerby reported it. It was unclear how the fire started, but the camper is considered a total loss. The Stratford Fire Department also responded to the scene.
