Roberts accused of domestic assault
Bradley A. Roberts Jr., 31, is charged with third-degree domestic assault, a class D felony, after allegedly using his closed fist to strike a woman in the chest and forehead as they were riding in a vehicle.
Roberts, of Callender, made an initital appearance Tuesday in Webster County Magistrate Court. He has two prior convictions for domestic abuse.
Roberts was ordered held on $5,000 bond for the domestic abuse charge and $2,000 bond for operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, an aggravated misdemeanor. A no-contact order was issued between Roberts and the alleged victim.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 21.
