KYL announces April children’s events

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be hosting children’s events in April. Tales Around the Town – Kendall Young Library along with local Webster City businesses will be taking storytime on the road. Each week families are invited to meet at a designated location, hear a story and experience the host location. April is the last month of Tales Around the Town until fall. Zion Lutheran Church seeks grant applications

GOWRIE — The Zion Endowed Benevolence Team of Zion Lutheran Church, Gowrie, is soliciting grant applications for 2025. The purpose of the Endowed Benevolence Program is to extend and enrich the kingdom of God by witnessing in word and deed to people in need both directly and through organized efforts or organizations, especially those not having their own planned giving programs. Diabetes Center support group meets Wednesday

Hosted by Trinity Diabetes Center, the free Diabetes Support Group provides tools and tips on how to handle the more complex and difficult tasks of diabetes in life. This support group is open to those with diabetes, as well as their family members and/or caregivers. A different topic will be shared each month, and those who attend will receive support, knowledge and ideas. Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of the month in conference center 2 from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Enter through door 5. The next meeting is Wednesday where the team will cover diabetes medication.

August Green to visit Fort Dodge Public Library

Storyteller August Green will be at the Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., at 6 p.m. on Monday.
