Trombone Day at ICCC March 27

Trombone players of all ages and skill levels are invited to attend Iowa Trombone Day on Sunday, March 27 at Iowa Central Community College.

The annual celebration of the trombone will include a mass trombone choir alongside master classes and a fundamentals session for early players. The event, hosted by Paul Bloomquist, director of instrumental music at Iowa Central Community College and Nathan Dishman, assistant professor of trombone at Iowa State University in Ames, will begin at noon on March 27 and will close with a trombone concert at 5:30 pm.

The Iowa Trombone Day event is free and is open to anyone, no matter their age or skill level, to participate. All you need is to bring a trombone. For more information or to register, call or email Bloomquist at 515-574-1203 or Bloomquist@IowaCentral.edu.
