Free essentials offered at North Ninth Unity Park
Fort Dodge residents needing hygiene or household essentials can stop by the North Ninth Street “Unity Park” on Saturday and Sunday.
Items such as shampoo, body wash, combs, all purpose cleaner, toilet paper and nonperishable food will be offered there for free, no questions asked.
Baby items such as wipes, bottles, formula, socks and blankets will also be available. Everything is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Donation drop off is taking place through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The effort is sponsored by Honor’s Cleaning, Dirty Dodge and Twin Cities Stand Together.
