Santa Cops postponed
The Fort Dodge Police Association is postponing its annual Santa Cops event until next year.
The Association made the announcement via social media on Saturday.
“We have come to the difficult decision that due to the current state of COVID-19 within Webster County, we are postponing our annual Santa Cops event until next year,” the post said.
As an alternative, the Fort Dodge Police Association donated $1,000 to the Bikes for Tykes event at Fort Dodge Ford Lincoln Toyota.
That donation will be used to help purchase more bikes for the kids this Christmas season.
