Webster Co. COVID-19 cases surpass 400 mark
The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Webster County continue to rise this week. As of Monday, the county had 428 individuals who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to the state of Iowa’s COVID-19 website.
Across the state, 35,577 Iowans have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began in March.
According to Kelli Bloomquist, public information officer for WCPH, 197 Webster County residents have now recovered from COVID-19.
There have been five deaths in the county attributed to the illness.
