Restaurant temporarily closed after COVID-19 scare
Lefti’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill temporarily closed Tuesday afternoon as it awaited an employee’s COVID-19 test, according to the restaurant’s social media posts.
“Out of an abundance of caution we will be closed tonight and until further notice due to potential COVID-19 exposure of an employee,” a Tuesday post said.
The restaurant announced Wednesday afternoon that the test came back negative, and that the bar and grill would reopen today.
The tested employee, who had firsthand exposure to COVID-19, will be quarantined for the next seven days.
